As the Vice President of Product Development, Vicky is responsible for products under development as well as investigating the feasibility of possible new products.
Vicky is the vice-chair of the IEEE p1451.0 working group (Common Functions and Protocols, and TEDS Formats Working Group) and a member of the IEEE p1451.5 (wireless sensor) working group. She is also working with the ISA’s (Instrument Society of America) SP100 Wireless Sensor standards effort.
Vicky Sweetser joined Complete Test in 2003 as a senior partner after working a number of years for a leading test and measurement company. During that time she became an expert in test and measurement plus all phases of electronic product design and manufacturing. She designed and developed 15 instruments ranging from Digital Multi-Meters (DMM) to IO hardware.
Vicky has a BS-Math from the University of Missouri at St. Louis and a BS Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. She also has done post-graduate work at Colorado State University.
She and her husband proposed and developed the curriculum for a microprocessor class now being taught at the local high school. Two graduates of that class have won national awards for their microprocessor designs. In their spare time she and her husband enjoy hiking, biking and traveling. Their daughter is currently a senior at CSU majoring in Electrical Engineering and their son is a freshmen at Colorado Mountain College majoring in Mechanical Engineering and competes with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. His main events are snowboard boardercross and slalom racing.
